‘ Umenzi - The Maker ‘ as part of the Homeward Bound Project

A little herd-boy sits quietly, concentratedly creating a small, hand held clay ox in his hands. His eyes are closed, almost as though he sees though he fingertips. He is ‘Umenzi – the Maker’. From his little magical clay ox he imagines what dreams may come: That his herd grows, becomes real…in the concepts of a child: that it gets Biggerer and Biggerer.

 The Homeward Bound Project: A journey and a recognition of togetherness and belonging - that the memories and stories that weave us together and lead us 'home' are stronger than the misunderstandings and failures that divide us.

We are on a journey still, but all part of the same herd.
